Dr. Zimm is a Board-Certified Eye Physician and surgeon (Ophthalmologist). He grew up in Erie, PA and is an alumnus of Cathedral Preparatory School, Gannon University, and LECOM.
Through Michigan State University Dr. Zimm completed a three-year Medical and Surgical Ophthalmology Residency with an additional one-year Fellowship in advanced cataract & refractive surgery (LASIK).
Dr. Zimm performs both Traditional and blade-free Laser-Assisted Cataract Surgery. He was the first Ophthalmologist in the region to perform Laser-Assisted cataract surgery. Dr. Zimm also offers LASIK refractive surgery and laser surgery for both glaucoma and secondary cataracts.
