A good eye exam by Dr. Zimm can do a lot to catch glaucoma in the early stages and treat it before it becomes a problem. Dr. Zimm will check your pressure and look at your optic nerves for signs of damage (optic cupping). If cupping or elevated pressures are noted, there are several tests that can be done to determine whether you have any damage from glaucoma. All of these tests do not need to be done on everyone, and the selection of them can be determined by Dr. Zimm.
